Rehasense PAWS | Wheelchair E-bike Attachment

This is a review of the Rehasense PAWS through my perspective and experience. I have experienced a lot of technology that has given me a new outlook on life and afforded me a new sense of freedom — however, nothing like the front power-assist add-ons that have allowed me to explore bike trails, explore the city, and all the while have a smile on my face and the wind in my hair. The Rehasense PAWS is one of the best, if not the best, front power-assist add-ons out there. It’s extremely easy to use, opens up new avenues of freedom and I highly recommend it for any wheelchair user.

The Rehasense PAWS is a highly praised front drive attachment for wheelchairs that offers a range of impressive features. One standout feature is its ease of use, allowing for quick attachment and detachment. This makes it convenient for users to switch between activities such as biking and strolling. The PAWS comes in a “quad” version, designed to cater to individuals with limited hand and finger dexterity. The attachment process involves securely clamping the PAWS to the wheelchair frame and raising the casters. The device is equipped with various buttons and controls, including raise and lower, emergency brake, forward and reverse gears, horn, and more.

The PAWS offers a “Walk mode” that engages the motor at a set speed, making it effortless to take a leisurely stroll. The attachment also features a powerful light with adjustable brightness, enhancing visibility during nighttime rides. Notably, the PAWS boasts traction control, which minimizes wheel spin and allows for smooth movement even on steep inclines and rugged terrain. The device’s battery is lightweight and easy to charge, providing a significant range of up to 32 km per charge. Additionally, the PAWS offers a quick charging time of just three hours.

Despite a few drawbacks such as the higher price point and the less recognizable horn sound, the Rehasense PAWS remains a feature-packed, high-performance front drive attachment for wheelchairs. With its excellent battery range, fast speed, user-friendly controls, and quality-of-life features like traction control, walk mode, and cruise control, the PAWS is highly recommended for those seeking enhanced mobility and convenience in their daily lives.

The Rehasense PAWS is a top-tier power assist device for wheelchairs, offering a reliable and efficient wheelchair motor attachment. It provides invaluable support for people with mobility disabilities. This electric wheelchair add-on enhances the functionality of both manual and power wheelchairs, empowering users to navigate their daily lives with ease and independence.

For those with spinal cord injuries or other disabilities, the PAWS proves to be a game-changer, revolutionizing the wheelchair experience. This wheelchair power assist attachment combines advanced technology with user-friendly controls, offering a seamless wheelchair drive. By seamlessly integrating with the user’s manual or electric wheelchair, the PAWS becomes an indispensable mobility aid, providing the necessary power assist required to overcome various obstacles and terrains.

Rehasense, the brand behind this innovative power assist device, has established itself as a leader in the field of mobility solutions. Their commitment to designing and manufacturing high-quality products is evident in the PAWS, which stands as a testament to their dedication to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.

In conclusion, the Rehasense PAWS represents the pinnacle of wheelchair power assist technology. With its wheelchair motor, easy attachment, and impressive features, it empowers individuals with mobility limitations to regain their freedom and independence. Whether it’s for navigating urban environments, tackling rugged terrains, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, the PAWS is a transformative wheelchair power assist attachment that enhances the overall quality of life for wheelchair users.

The Rehasense PAWS has undoubtedly redefined my experience as a wheelchair user, providing an unbeatable combination of ease of use, innovation, exceptional battery life, and quality-of-life enhancements. If you’re looking for a front power-assist attachment that will unlock newfound freedom– and do it with style — look no further.
