Driving as a Disabled Person | Transfer Seat and Robotic Chair Stow

Today, we’re talking about driving as a disabled person, and show how the transfer seat and robotic chair stow functions. In this video, Helena transfers onto a transfer seat outside the truck. She uses the seat to enter the truck and get into position to drive. She directs the robot arm to place her wheelchair in the back.

In an excerpt from Cortree’s Vehicle Modification elearning course, Helena shows how she uses a transfer seat to enter her truck and a robotic lift to stow her wheelchair: Demonstrating how her vehicle modification has helped increased her sense of independence and freedom.
