Side Entry Wheelchair Van for Spinal Cord Injury Driving

In this video, we show the side entry wheelchair van for spinal cord injury driving. This wheelchair accessible van with a side entry van ramp provides comfortable and easy access for paraplegic drivers. We see the driver using a manual wheelchair, as he uses a side entry ramp to enter the van. He transfers into a 6-way seat, and once inside the vehicle, he then turns the seat to the drive position.

Cortree’s Vehicle Modification elearning course is a great place to start learning what products and options drivers with disabilities will want to consider when deciding on whether vehicle modification is right for them.
