Tory catches up with Mike Johnson in his hometown of Collingwood to discuss equipment, accessibility and the back story of SCIsupply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SCIsupply Inc. was founded in 2009 and specializes in the online sale and distribution of incontinence supplies required by people who have sustained neurological damage due to a spinal cord injury or disease. The company strives to create a system where shopping for incontinence supplies is as convenient and seamless as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having lived with a spinal cord injury since 1995, Mike has extensive experience with various supplies required for a healthy bladder program. He shows us around his office and the renovated apartment upstairs in the designated heritage building. Then Mike demos the Batec, an attachable electric handbike for manual wheelchairs, a game-changer for his ability to travel hilly cities and get around in the winter pain-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
