For disabled people, those of us with spinal cord injuries, and people who are confined to a wheelchair, we are fortunate to live in a time where smart home technology has made home life more manageable. Smart home devices such as Hey Google and Apple Home Pod can assist those of us with disabilities to live more independently and affordably. Video doorbells are very helpful for people with limited mobility, allowing us to see who is at the door without having to get up, and letting us communicate with our outside visitor simply with a smart phone. There are a lot of new and convenient smart home tech automation devices at our disposal, providing a better quality of life. Most of these smart home devices for disabled people are affordable and easy to learn how to use.
