Wilson lives in North Bay, Ontario with his wife and children. He sustained a C-level spinal cord injury in a motor vehicle collision. After his injury, he started to learn how to paint. He is now a mouth painter and has a YouTube channel sharing how he painted each piece. His life is as colourful as his artwork.
