The SCIO Peer Support Team hosted a Peer Connection workshop at Lyndhurst Centre focused on technology trends and practical tools that can support independence, accessibility, and everyday living after spinal cord injury. Peers shared firsthand experiences with a variety of devices, apps, and adaptive solutions they have found helpful throughout their recovery and daily lives.
The session provided newly injured patients with valuable real-world insights, practical tips, and an opportunity to learn from others who have successfully navigated similar challenges. Through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, the event highlighted how technology can enhance participation, confidence, and quality of life following injury.
