Toronto Botanical Garden | Wheelchair Accessible Activities

Toronto Botanical Garden is one of my favourite spots in the city. The scenery, the flowers, and the smell of the air make this place a paradise in the middle of a noisy city. Everywhere was well paved and flat to meet a high accessibility standard

I tried to come once a month to see the newly blossomed flowers. There are so many different kinds of exotic plants and most people can’t identify them all. There is a 90-minute guided tour a few times a month where you can learn about the plants, pollinators, history and ecological aspects of the garden

Public gardens like this are government-funded. They’re designed to give people a much-needed break in their stressful life. Admission is free and parking is only 2.50 per hour. Search for the nearest one in your area and I hope you will enjoy your visit as much as I did.
